Canadian Military Pin-Up
This project will be a vintage-inspired boudoir photoshoot that pays homage to Canadian military history while embracing the timeless aesthetic of the classic pin-up. The goal is to create bold, elegant, and empowering portraits that highlight both strength and beauty, blending playful confidence with artistic refinement.
While this shoot does involve implied sensuality, it is not designed to be vulgar or objectifying. It is about celebrating the form, attitude, and spirit of the pin-up style through a Canadian military lens. Wardrobe may include military jackets, caps, insignia, or vintage-inspired attire combined with lingerie or boudoir fashion. I have several uniforms and props (listed below) that can be used as a clients closet!
All body types are welcome, as the essence of pin-up is personality, expression, and presence—not a single look. The aim is to capture diversity while still holding true to the iconic feel of the era. This is open to all groups, genders, and cultures!
I usually charge $500.00 per shoot for these creatives, but I will be offering a limited run of free shoots when just getting started in a new area. These fall under a TFP agreement, which is explained more below!
As with past projects, once the main creative shots are completed, models may choose to take additional identifiable or non-identifiable portraits if they wish, with more creative freedom. This is always up to personal comfort and completely optional—given there is time. Feel free to check out my portfolio! You can find it by navigating to my home page.
Shoots are done TFP right now on an individual request basis.

Safety First
Your safety, comfort, and peace of mind are my top priorities during every shoot. I bring the same level of care and responsibility here that I do in my career as an Advanced Care Flight Paramedic and as the Chief Paramedic for a charity service. While I can’t predict every situation, I do everything possible to make sure sessions are safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone.
Here’s what that means for you:
-
Open Communication: If you have any limitations, need assistance, or just want me to be aware of something ahead of time, please let me know. The more I understand, the better I can make the experience for you.
-
Meeting Beforehand: It's my preference to meet before a shoot to break the ice and make sure we get along! If this is difficult due to time/distance, I am happy to do a "Face-to-Face" online. Just let me know!
-
Transparency & Trust: My LinkedIn profile is linked in the “About Me” section of this site, so you can learn more about me. I’m also happy to provide a photo of my government I.D. and my contact numbers so you can share them with a partner, family member, or friend before your session.
-
Bringing Support/a Guest: You’re more than welcome to bring someone along if that makes you feel more comfortable. For women’s sessions, I ask that guests be female to keep the environment relaxed for everyone. For men’s sessions, shoots are scheduled separately from the ladies so that comfort and respect are maintained across the board. Gentlemen are also welcome to bring a support person!
-
Professionalism Always: Clear boundaries, respect, and professionalism guide every shoot. My job is not only to capture great photos but also to ensure you feel safe, comfortable, and confident throughout the process.
At the end of the day, your well-being matters just as much as the final images. When you feel secure and supported, that’s when the best photos happen.
Outfits
Outfits (Boudoir & Pin-Up)
Models are encouraged to bring lingerie, stockings, bodysuits, or vintage-inspired boudoir pieces that match the playful yet elegant feel of the classic pin-up. Heels, garter belts, and accessories such as gloves or pearls can add a polished touch. Personal lingerie brands are welcome as a thank you for participating.
Classic red lipstick and pin-up style hair (victory rolls, curls, or headscarves) are also highly encouraged to complete the aesthetic.
Outfits (Military-Inspired)
This shoot is about blending the softness of boudoir with the bold confidence of military themes. Ideas include:
-
Vintage or reproduction Canadian military jackets, caps, or insignia
-
Bomber jackets or utility-style garments paired with lingerie
-
Dog tags, aviator sunglasses, or boots for contrast
-
Props such as flags, letters, or period-inspired accessories
Client Closet
We have a lot of uniforms available! From the Air Force, Navy, Army, and more. Please reach out for a full list so we can make a plan!
Please send me a photo or link of any outfits or props you plan to bring. Links to online shops, stock images, or inspiration photos are perfectly fine. This helps me prepare the creative direction in advance.

FAQ
TFP (Trade For Photos) Rules
This is a TFP shoot. That means models will not be paid for their time, and I will not be charging for the shoot. Instead, everyone involved receives professional photos in exchange for their participation.
-
Each model will receive a minimum of 5 fully edited, high-quality JPEG photos from the shoot.
-
Both the model and the photographer must give proper credit when posting photos on social media, websites, or other platforms.
-
Photos cannot be edited, cropped, filtered, or have watermarks removed. If you would like adjustments, I will provide edits free of charge.
-
Photos may not be used for commercial gain, competitions, or publications without the written consent of the photographer and all models appearing in the image.
-
Additional personal-use shots may be taken after the main creative photos are completed. These follow the same usage and credit guidelines.
These guidelines are in place to ensure fairness, protect everyone’s work, and keep opportunities like this available for future shoots.
Editing Policy, Delivery & AI Use
All editing for this project is done manually by me. I do not use AI tools to alter bodies, faces, or features. My process is entirely hands-on to preserve authenticity and ensure the final images remain true to the model and the artistic vision.
I do not alter a person’s body (shape, size, or proportions) unless specifically requested by the model. What I do edit are things like:
-
Shadow lines or lighting artifacts caused by the camera setup.
-
Minor skin blemishes such as acne, redness, or other temporary concerns.
-
Distracting details that do not reflect how the person normally looks.
If you have specific concerns, I can make edits at your request. My goal is to create fine art images that highlight strength, form, and character while respecting the individuality of each model.
Because every adjustment is done by hand, delivery may take longer than automated editing methods. This ensures quality and consistency across all final images. My goal is to deliver within a month. If this is not able to be done, it will be communicated.
Additionally, once photos are delivered, there is an expectation that they are not altered through AI tools (apps, filters, or generative editors). This is to protect both the integrity of the artwork and the authenticity of the people represented.
